On this small-group journey (max 16 participants), you will travel in style in an air-conditioned mini-bus and your friendly and knowledgeable Tour Director/Driver will look after you throughout your stay.
Embark on a unique experience that will take you from the fascinating Capital city of Dublin to the Vibrant City of Belfast in Northern Ireland. Explore the captivating Giant’s Causeway & The Iconic Game of Thrones filming locations. Discover the sensational Wild Atlantic Way coastal drive, castles and national parks in Donegal, the European Capital of Culture- Galway, the traditional Irish music sessions in County Clare and the famous Kingdom of Kerry with its glorious landscapes.
We strive to include many other sight-seeing opportunities, special events and activities that are not on the itinerary. We are committed to personalising your experience in Ireland in accordance with your interests and timeframes.
On arrival in Dublin Airport reclaim your baggage and enter the Arrivals Hall. Here, you will meet your Irish tour guide (who is also your driver).
There will be two group transfers this morning between 0700 am & 1200 noon.
Enjoy your air-conditioned mini-coach and look out for Irish landmarks on the short transfer to your Hotel in Dublin City.
Check-in is from 15:00 but the hotel will be able to store your luggage prior to check-in.
Take in your surroundings or go shopping at the famous O’Connell Street. We will supply you with a list of optional activities or you can choose to relax and unwind in the hotel.
2 pm: Meet in the lobby for a drink and group introductions. It is time for a tour through Dublin with your friendly driver-guide!
First stop: Epic Museum .EPIC, The Irish Emigration Museum is located in Dublin’s Docklands which covers the history of the Irish diaspora and emigration to other countries. It was designed by the London-based design firm Event Communications and was voted as “Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction” at the 2019 World Travel Awards.
No visit to Dublin is complete without a visit to the world-famous Guinness Storehouse. Explore the magnificent cultural landmark at your own pace and meet at the 360 bar for your free drink and panoramic views of Dublin.
A welcome dinner is organised at 8 pm. This is a great opportunity to meet other people in your group. You can enjoy the hotel bar or venture into Dublin city afterwards. Your friendly driver-guide will give you plenty of options. There are traditional Irish music sessions taking place and many locals to chat to.
After your Irish breakfast, we leave for Kerry via The famous Rock of Cashel. The Rock of Cashel is one of Ireland’s most visited landmarks and is a spectacular archaeological site. Ancient kings, patron saints and unparalleled beauty – the Rock of Cashel brings together Ireland’s long legacy and trademark stunning scenery. Silhouetted against the sky, rising above the lush green fields of the surrounding countryside, the Rock is home to over 1,000 years of history, right at the heart of Ireland’s Ancient East…
Arrive in Kerry and enjoy your luxurious 4* hotel.
Head into the local town for a traditional Irish music session and a chat with the locals.
The Ring of Kerry- famous for its rural villages and splendid rugged landscapes, it isn’t hard to see why it is a tourist favourite.
Stop off at ‘Ladies View’, ranked as the most photographed place in Ireland by the Irish Times. This is the perfect place to take a picture.
Explore Ross Castle, a medieval wonder set in a glorious Irish backdrop.
Get your daily quota of natural splendour at Torc waterfall.

We’re off to Galway today! We stop at Bunratty Castle and Folk Park in County Clare, which is another highlight for our domestic and international visitors alike.
The spot on which this castle stands has been occupied for over 1000 years. From the Vikings to the Normans, great Irish Earls and noble Lords and Ladies. This is your chance to experience a window on Ireland’s past and explore the acclaimed 15th century Bunratty Castle.
You will be staying in a luxurious 4* hotel. Your lovely driver-guide will give you options for entertainment this evening. Galway is the European Capital of Culture- its time to discover why!
We travel via Shannon where we stop for lunch and visit Bunratty Castle and folk park.
We’re off to the famous Cliffs of Moher! You simply cannot travel to Ireland without paying a visit to Ireland’s top tourist attraction, the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher, situated in County Clare along the wild Atlantic Way. The Cliffs of Moher have majestically faced the Atlantic for over 350 million years and their beauty is incomparable – it is Ireland’s most visited tourist attraction and when you visit you will understand why.
Spend some time in the wonderful village of Doolin and explore at your own pace.
Delight in the sheepdog demo at Caherconnell. Surrounded by historic stone forts, this is Irish culture at its best.
Relax in your hotel or head out in the city this evening.

Today you visit the famous Kylemore Abbey. This is a truly majestic location and a must-see for Irish tourists. ‘Visit the Abbey with its beautifully restored period rooms and fascinating Visitor Experience and learn about its history of tragedy, romance, education, and spirituality. Explore the 6-acre Victorian Walled Garden with its delightfully restored garden buildings, formal flower, vegetable and herb gardens. Discover woodland and lakeshore walks that will take you on a beautiful journey through our 1,000-acre estate. The beautiful neo-Gothic Church is a short walk from the Abbey.’
Stop off at the Craft Village in Spiddal. Check out our wonderful local Irish artists.
Then you will be transported back to Galway city to enjoy a traditional Irish music session. Find the Spanish Arch, a favourite for tourists visiting Ireland, or roam the little Irish streets and find your hidden gems.
Your driver-guide will direct you to the best Irish bars for a trad session. Speak to locals and tell tales of your Irish journey so far.
Enjoy your last Galway full Irish breakfast!
You will depart at 11 am from Galway and make your way to Sligo. Visit the grave of world-renowned poet, W.B. Yeats. This area is a place of outstanding beauty. Yeats was inspired by the countryside and wrote many of his poems here. A trip to Glencar Waterfall and lunch at the award-winning Yeats Tavern completes our Sligo adventure.
4 pm: Check in to your 4* Donegal accommodation.
Spend the evening at your luxurious accommodation or explore the lively village. Pop into one of many famous Irish pubs in the area. Traditional Irish sessions are happening throughout the numerous bars.

You will explore Donegal Castle and learn the story of the O’Donnell clan that ruled over the land.The Vikings invaded Donegal Town in the 8th century. Dun na nGall (Irish) means fort of the foreigner.

This evening we’re off to McCafferty’s Bar for the craic and a music session! Enjoy one of the best pubs in Ireland.
You are on the road to Sliabh Liag, the highest accessible sea cliffs in Europe. Standing almost 3 times higher than the cliffs of Moher, these cliffs are spectacular.
Check out some of the beautiful beaches in the area, including Silver Strand, and you’ll also spot actress Sarah Jessica Parker’s coastal house- everyone wants a piece of Donegal!
It’s off to the Rusty Mackerel for lunch, which is an Irish experience in itself. This is the most authentic Irish bar you will find. Enjoy the amazing food and stunning scenery and maybe even catch a traditional Irish session!
You will check into your 4* accommodation, The Clanree Hotel and Spa, for the night and enjoy the facilities or lively bar next door.

Today, you get the opportunity to visit a firm favourite- Glenveagh Castle and National Park. Take a guided tour of the castle and learn all about its colourful history. Outside, enjoy the expansive gardens and if you’re feeling energetic, take one of the many sensational hikes. Keep an eye out for red deer grazing and Golden Eagles soaring overhead!
Have a delicious homemade lunch at the castle.
Drive through the scenic poison glen (in Irish- the heavenly Glen!) and past Mount Errigal. There are some brilliant opportunities for amazing photos here. Treasure the sights of Gaeltacht Ireland.

Time to explore the North Coast of Ireland. Game of Thrones and Star Wars have recently filmed here due to the spectacular scenery. This coastal route was rated the ‘World’s Best Region to Visit’ in 2018 by National Geographic.
First up, you will visit one of the top tourist attractions on the Island of Ireland-UNESCO World Heritage Site- The Giant’s Causeway. Famed for its folklore and unbelievable rock formations, this popular destination attracts tourists from across the globe. Learn about the mythology of this wonderful place at the visitor centre. Then take a short hike along this amazing route and appreciate it in all its glory. Mark Rodgers is the recognised specialist tour guide and storyteller (Seanachaí) on the famous Causeway Coastal Route and spending time in his company is an experience in its own right. He guides and tells stories with pride and a passion that simply connects you to the journey. His skills and stories have been refined and passed down through his family for generations.

Explore the renowned Trinity College and The Book of Kells with your Trinity student tour guide. This gives you an authentic and living experience of Ireland’s oldest University. Founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I. Trinity College Dublin is considered to be one of the world’s most beautiful university campuses. The guided tour gives an introduction to the book of Kells. Walk in the footsteps of Oscar Wilde, Bram Stoker and Samuel Beckett, to name but a few!

The island of Ireland is in fact two countries:
There is no hard border between the 2 countries and you will not need your passport to travel within the island. Cars drive on the left in both countries. You will however need 2 different currencies: EUROS for Ireland and POUNDS for Northern Ireland. Many establishments will take both currencies, but not all.
They say Ireland can experience all 4 seasons in one day. Actually, it can experience all 4 seasons at once. Make sure you always have a raincoat or an umbrella with you. And wearing layers is a good idea as temperatures can vary. Typical temperatures in the Spring and Autumn (Fall) are between 5 and 15 degrees and in Summer from 10 to 20 degrees. But you may get lucky and catch a heatwave when you’re here.

Ireland has 14 international airports, although only 4 of these take flights from outside Europe and the UK: Dublin, Belast, Shannon and Knock.
